Last updated 2026. This page explains how CBI handles information you share on this site.
When you request a download, start a chat, or contact us we may store your name, email, phone number, the resource you asked for, the page you were on, and the contents of your messages (including messages with our AI assistant).
To send the resource you asked for, to answer questions via our AI assistant or human team, to improve our services, and occasionally to share research relevant to monthly-giving programmes.
Our site chat may use an AI assistant grounded in CBI’s public knowledge. Conversations can be reviewed by CBI staff when you request a human handoff or for quality and support. We do not use your chat to train public models outside our configured provider under our account.
We keep contact and chat records for as long as they remain useful to our relationship with you, and remove them on request where we are not required to retain them for legal reasons.
You can ask us to correct or delete your details at any time by emailing [email protected]. We never sell contact data.
Chat and lead data are processed through server-side functions with access limited to authorized systems and administrators. Admin tools are password-gated and excluded from search indexing.
